My name is Ryan DeGuzman and I am the Director of Expansion for Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity. My office is located in the National Office of Phi Sigma Pi in Lancaster, PA. My primary responsibility is to ensure the successful activation of new chapters of our fraternity.
If you have made the decision to start a chapter of Phi Sigma Pi on your university campus then I am your primary contact. I will be working very closely with you. Congratulations! Together we are about to embark on an exciting journey that will result in wonderful benefits for you, your campus and the community. As we begin the process of starting a new chapter I will work closely with the university administration, faculty and staff to ensure we adhere to university policies and have access to university facilities and resources. I will also organize and implement the recruitment effort. I will coordinate informational meeting nights and organizational meeting nights. I will supervise the new colony throughout the academic term and help it complete the Brotherhood Education Program. It will be my honor to induct the colony and confer Phi Sigma Pi chapter status on it upon completion of the program. I am engaged in every step in the process to ensure that the colony members obtain a strong understanding of our history, purpose, values, standards, policies and general operating procedures. My objective is to ensure that we lay the foundation for a strong, successful chapter to emerge on the new campus.
