While the east coast may be under a lot of snow our efforts to continue expanding are well under way. One solution is getting out of the snow and cold and going west to UC San Diego. With the help of Delta Chi alumna Kathryn Lieber we have held information sessions on campus and recruited almost thirty prospective members. UCSD is now in colony status and we look forward to adding another California chapter.

It is Rush time for our semester chapters and time to revisit rush promotion ideas. My facebook feed this time of year is populated with profile pictures promoting rush events. This is a great practice since the best place to reach students is by going where they are.

Let’s kick this semester off on a great note! It’s time to put those goals down on paper. This not only applies to officers and chairs, but every member of the Chapter. When your chapter starts to think through setting goals make sure you create SMART (specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and timely) goals.

Today is officially a travel day for brothers who will make up the corp members for this year’s ABP. My day began with a trip to the airport to pick up National Staff members Ryan Deguzman and Krista Kay. From there, we traveled to the car rental place to pick up the vans that will be used throughout the week.
