Are online donations safe and secure?

I donated at a level that entitles me to NAA event benefits, but I don't want to use them. What should I do?
Upon donating, you will be asked to specify whether to (a) receive event benefits for yourself, (b) donate them to a chapter or individual, or (c) decline them. Simply make the choice that works for you.

I received my tax-deductible receipt and it is less than the amount I gave. Why?
The amount of your donation that is tax-deductible will be what you gave minus the cost for event benefits you chose to use personally.

What is Foundation membership?
While all donations are made through the Phi Sigma Pi Foundation, Foundation membership is reserved for the top donors to Phi Sigma Pi. As such they are eligible to vote for the directors who run the Foundation, as well as decide other matters pertaining to the Foundation's welfare.

How do I become a Foundation member?
When you've donated $1,000 or more over your lifetime to a Phi Sigma Pi unrestricted or nationally-restricted fund, including $250 or more in the current fiscal year, you are entitled to become a Foundation member. You will be notified as to your eligibility and at that point can choose to become a member.

Can I increase my support by having my company match my gift?
Yes! If your employer participates in a matching gift program you may be able to increase your Foundation gift by double or triple the size of your personal contribution. Simply forward your company's matching gift form to the Foundation along with your gift.

What's a nationally-restricted fund? Does that count my gift designated to my local chapter?
As the name suggests, a nationally-restricted fund is one that benefits a particular cause (say, a national scholarship) that is national in scope. Donations to particular chapters, or to privately-restricted funds (say, a local endowment held by the Foundation), do not count toward Foundation membership.
