Too often people who support Phi Sigma Pi through their generous donations are not aware that they are not taking full advantage of their donation. They are, in fact, essentially leaving money on the table. This is because they do not realize that there are companies that will match their charitable donations. In the past, companies such as Microsoft, Phillip Morris, ProQuest and others have matched all or part of their employees' donation to the Foundation. When you make a donation to Phi Sigma Pi please check to see if the following opportunities are available to you:

• Employer Matching Gifts
  Many companies have established matching gift programs whereby they will match any gift made by an employee to a qualified charitable organization. Some companies match gifts, but there may be restrictions. If your company does have a program and your donation does qualify, please obtain a matching gift form from your employer, complete the form and then send it directly to the Foundation with your gift.
• United Way Donor Option
  Large companies and organizations participate in programs that encourage employees to support charitable organizations. In many cases employees can designate workplace payroll deductions or one-time donations for United Way member agencies, such as the Phi Sigma Pi Foundation. Donor Option forms must be requested by the donor and follow up of the gift designation is suggested to be sure the donor's wishes have been fulfilled.
