Arriving in Lancaster early on Friday? Visit Lancaster Central Market, the oldest continuously operating public farmers’ market in the United States. It’s the perfect place to grab breakfast, browse local vendors, or pick up a Lancaster souvenir before heading to campus.

If you’re interested in the local art scene, visit Gallery Row on Prince Street, home to galleries featuring paintings, photography, sculpture, and other works by regional artists.

For history buffs, Wheatland, the former home of James Buchanan, is a must-see, along with the many historic landmarks throughout downtown.
